Buffalo County Rally
This event is located in the upper North Central region.  The rally is located in the unincorporated town of Waumandee, WI in an area with some of Wisconsin's finest rolling hills and winding roads. Waumandee is located approximately 1 hour north of La Crosse, 2 hours SE of the Twin Cities, and 15 miles east of the Mississippi River.  This area is considered the northern half of the Wisconsin non-glaciated area.  

Whether you camp or stay in a cabin, be sure to bring a camp chair for sitting around the campfire in the evening.

Area Attractions include, but are not limited to:

Weather: Normally dry and cool; highs upper 70's/Low 80's with 50-60 degree evening temps.  BUT as always, check the local forecast before traveling.

There is a plethora of great roads in the area, but if you can't decide, we've prepared a couple day rides that should be a lot of fun.

Lodging & Camping
The BUFFALO COUNTY RESORT has both on-site camping and cabins. (www.buffalocountyresort.com), 608-626-2371 (4pm-10pm Wed-Sun) or 612-232-4528 (4pm-8pm any day). 
Camping and Cabins localized and close rally central where the campfire and meals will be served.  Cabins are roomy and nicely furnished. 

Camping is $20/night, no reservation required.

Cabins approx. $100/night (2 adults).  Six cabins will be held until 5/1 for COG members only; after based on availability.  A bunkhouse with 4 double-bunks for $150 night is also available.

Motor homes are welcome but NO HOOK UPS are available.

Food

Coolers with ice will be available for your beverage of choice.  Bottled water will be provided (no soda). 

  • Thursday evening: Something simple, like gourmet hot dogs, beans, kraut and all the condiments
  • Friday/Saturday/Sunday morning: Cook your own breakfast sandwhich
  • Friday evening: Burgers/brats with a side
  • Saturday evening: Chicken thighs, corn, some type of dessert
  • Optional: There is a restaurant/bar on site that can serve evening meals 

Special Announcement Regarding COVID-19 

Please come prepared to follow to follow local guidelines regarding masks and social distancing.  

Each person is responsible for monitoring their own health.  If you feel sick, or if you've been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive, please stay home.

Registration 
The registration limit for this inaugural COG event is 25, and will be limited to members only (paid club members, associate members, and their guests). There are no registration fees, but space is limited, so we are asking everyone to register online.  Donations for food is/will be very much appreciated.
