NE 2021 Fall Weekend

We’re going back to the Mt. Snow area of Vermont for this years’ fall event.  The last COG event in Vermont was Spring 2017 in Bennington and the last event in West Dover was the 2011 “Green Mountains” National rally at the Mt. Snow Grand Summit Resort.  This will be a much smaller venue, typical of our Northeast regional weekend events.  The event location is the Gray Ghost Inn near West Dover, VT.

Ride Routes

Your host is doing something a little different for the Fall Event. Instead of providing GPS routes, he has made up a list of recommended roads and gaps to explore, and attractions with locations that people can easily find with a map or GPS. You can review the suggested rides and area attractions with location information and program into a GPS unit or find using area maps.

IMPORTANT:

Please print these documents at home, review them, and bring them with you to the event.

To print the documents, you will first need to Right Click on each and select Save Link As... and save to a folder on your computer to open and print.

Lodging

The Gray Ghost Inn has 26 rooms, all with private baths, and one 3-bedroom suite that consists of; (1-Queen Room / 1-Double Room / 2-Double & 1-Single Room), suitable for group sharing.

Room Rates: $110/night (not including taxes and fees), (includes full breakfast)

Room bookings are preferred to be made online so you can see what rooms are available on what floors.  All rooms are the same cost with the exception of the 3-bedroom suite.  If you have questions and need to speak directly with the Gray Ghost Inn, please call them at the number listed below.

Preferred booking:  online via the Inn’s website:  www.grayghostinn.com
Enter “Concours Owners Group” into the comments section during online booking.

Phone: Toll Free: 800-745-3615; Local: 802-464-2474; Mobile: 802-258-8834; Fax: 802-464-5236

The Inn is very motorcycle friendly, and they have hosted many motorcycle events.  The room rate listed includes a full eat-in breakfast during your stay.  The Inn’s amenities include outdoor fire pit, hot tub and pool, common area with games, and free Wi-Fi.  They allow BYOB and provide fridge and ice to keep your drinks cold.  All rooms have a private bath and are equipped with a hair dryer and AC.  The Gray Ghost has a fairly large flat paved parking lot, front porch and rear outdoor decks with seating areas to hang out.

There are only a few rooms available on Thursday 9/23 due to another event, so if you are looking for an extended weekend alternate lodging may be required.  The Gray Ghost has offered to assist us with motorcycle friendly alternate lodging recommendations if needed.  Please contact Carina Hellstrom, (Gray Ghost Innkeeper), and ask if she can recommend alternate lodging for the Concours Owners Group Fall Rally.  Please be advised that alternate lodging rates may differ from the published Gray Ghost Rates provided.

Because of the limited number of rooms, please consider room sharing with friends so that more members will be able to book at the Inn.  Most rooms have two beds to facilitate room sharing.  Other COGgers will appreciate this consideration.

Dinner Arrangements

Friday night - There are several options for COGgers on Friday night…ride, walk, or take the local Moover Shuttle to one of the area restaurants. We may collect money and order pizza and bring it back to the Gray Ghost to eat in their dining area with BYOB.

Saturday night - A group sit down meal in the Gray Ghost dining room – It will not be a typical buffet style dinner banquet.  There will be a home cooked, three-course meal consisting of; St. Louis style BBQ ribs and chicken breast served with coleslaw, baked beans, and roasted potatoes.  The 3-course meal is BYOB and will cost $26.75 inclusive per person and will paid direct to the Inn at time of dinner.

Registration/Fees
$0 members, $10 non-members - payment due at the event.  We're asking everyone to register online to help with planning.
