Newfound Lake Lunch Ride

Join Kevin Martin for a ride north into Bristol NH and around Newfound Lake, stopping for lunch on the Lake. This ride will start at 8 am from Johnson’s Restaurant & Dairy in Groton MA.  Routes North include; Rt-13, Rt-103, Rt-127, US-3, Rt-11, Rt-3A.  After lunch routes south include; Rt-3A, Rt-104, Rt-132, US-202, Rt-13, Rt-119.


Ride ends back at Johnson’s Dairy for an optional ice cream break. This ride is approximately 200 miles and 6-1/2 hours including planned stops.

  • 1st stop: Cumberland Farms, 3 Mountain Rd., Goffstown NH, (approximately 9 am).
  • 2nd stop: Gulf Station, 101 Lake Street, Bristol NH, (approximately 11 am).
  • 3rd stop: Lunch at The Big Catch, 150 Shore Dr., Bristol NH, (approximately 12 pm).
  • 4th stop: Cumberland Farms, 3 Mountain Rd., Goffstown NH, (approximately 2:30 pm).
  • Last stop: Johnson’s Dairy, 164 Boston Rd., Groton MA, (approximately 4 pm).

Meeting Location: Ride starts at 8:00 am from Johnson’s Restaurant, 164 Boston Rd., (Rt-119) Groton MA.  Get there early if you want breakfast, please gas up before the ride starts.  There are several stops planned as well for anyone wishing to join the ride in progress.  Please register via the COG Calendar so we can plan for lunch.  Lunch Location: The Big Catch, 150 Shore Dr., Bristol NH Estimated mileage / Time: 202 miles / 6:30 hours (including stops)

Announcement Regarding COVID-19 

Please come prepared to follow to follow local guidelines regarding masks and social distancing.  Each person is responsible for monitoring their own health.  If you feel sick, or if you've been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive, please stay home.

Registration/Fees
There are no registration fees, but we are asking everyone to register online so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
