October Colors Ride

THIS RIDE REPLACES THE PREVIOUSLY POSTED FRANCONIA NOTCH RIDE.

Join Kevin Martin for a ride up into the White Mountains National Forest crossing the Kancamagus east to west from Lincoln into Conway NH.  Ride leaves at 7:30 AM from Johnson’s Restaurant & Dairy Bar in Groton MA. This is approximately a 280 mile / 7 hour round trip ride.  


To make up time on this long ride and short daylight, we’ll need to take I-93 North out of Windham NH, go through the Hooksett Tolls, then exit the interstate at Exit 24 (US-3) in Ashland where we’ll stop at Dunkins for a break.  

From Dunkins - Ashland, we’ll take US-3 North into Lincoln, stopping for another break before crossing the Kancamagus Pass into Conway NH where we’ll pick up Rt-153 South. Lunch will be at the Miss Wakefield Diner on Rt-16 in Wakefield, NH. Ride ends at the Honey Dew Donuts on Westford Rd., in Westford MA, next to US-3.

Meeting Location: Johnson’s Restaurant & Dairy Bar, 164 Boston Rd., (Rt-119) Groton MA. Get there early if you want breakfast, please gas up before the ride starts.

Lunch Location: Miss Wakefield Diner, 7 Windy Hollow Rd., Wakefield, NH 03872 Estimated mileage / Time: 278 miles / 7 hours (including stops)

Please come prepared to follow to follow local guidelines regarding masks and social distancing.  Each person is responsible for monitoring their own health.  If you feel sick, or if you've been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive, please stay home.

Registration/Fees
There are no registration fees, but we are asking everyone to register online so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
