North Shore Ride [MA]

North Shore Ride

Join Kevin on his first COG Ride of 2022. We’ll be taking a casual ride out to Rockport and Gloucester, stopping for lunch at the Village Restaurant in Essex, MA. It’s early in the season, so if traffic is light, maybe we’ll take a ride out to - The Bearskin Neck Jetty - in Rockport for a brief view of Rockport Harbor, and maybe a Group photo.

After lunch, we’ll end the ride back at the Tewksbury Mobil on the Run, or if Riders prefer, I can lead everyone on a back road jaunt to Dunkin' about 5 miles from I-495 South, to end the ride there.

Meeting Location: Ride starts at 9:30 am from the Tewksbury Mobil-On-The-Run / Dunkins / Rt-133. (old) Exit 39 off I-495 (see map below).

Lunch Location: Village Restaurant located at 55 Main St, Essex, MA 01929, phone number 978-768-6400.

Event mileage / Time: 119 miles / 4:30 hrs. (including lunch / Tewksbury round trip) 118 miles / 4:30 hrs. (Including lunch / Groton MA end)

Health & Safety Announcement  
Each person will be responsible for monitoring their own health. If you feel sick, or if you've been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive, please stay home. Use hand sanitizer and practice hand washing during the event and before every meal. Bring a mask and be prepared to follow local guidelines regarding masks and social distancing. Event plans and procedures may be subject to change based on new requirements.

There are no registration fees, but we're asking everyone to register online so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
