Longest Day Ride

Join Charlie Gary for the Longest Day Ride.  We'll meet for breakfast at 8:00am at the Blue Bird Cafe in downtown Arlington (note the change from previous years.)  The goal is kickstands up at 9:00am.  Show up gassed up and ready to ride.

We will ride WA 530 through Oso and Darrington to WA 20 up to Marblemount for a quick gas stop.  Our next stop will be the Diablo Lake overlook.  After that it’s on to Winthrop and the Texaco station on the east side of town.  From there we follow the Methow River on WA 153 to US 97 at Pateros where we go south along the Columbia to Chelan for lunch at Marcela’s Cocina Mexicana, 119 E Woodin Ave, Chelan, WA 98816 .

After lunch we find WA 971 and ride along the south shore of Lake Chelan until the road turns south and takes us back to US 97, which takes us to the next gas stop on the north side of Wenatchee.  From there we head west on US 2 to Peshastin, where we take a detour up the Chumstick Valley through Plain.  We pick-up US 2 again at Coles Corner and continue west over Stevens Pass and down into Sultan to conclude the ride at the Chevron station located at 31201 US-2, Sultan, WA.
