Whoop and Holler Ride

Meet up in Prosser, WA for breakfast or maybe just coffee (early to beat the heat) and ride up and over the hill to the tiny town of Bickleton.  Destination the Whoop & Holler Museum.  This is the personal collection of Lawrence and Ada Whitmore and includes everything from Studebaker automobiles to a horse drawn ambulance sleigh.  The main building and several outbuildings are stuffed to the rafters with interesting items.

Lawrence passed and Ada is 95 years old so tours are self guided unless she is feeling up to leading them. Alternatively if Ada is under the weather we will ride to Maryhill museum on the Washington side of the Columbia river. Best lunch stops are in Goldendale WA on the return loop.  Three different return routes are possible.

For locals or west siders wanting to make a weekend of it, everyone is invited to return to Casa Howard on the river in Pasco. We will fire up the grill and do hotdogs and burgers for dinner.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is boat race weekend in the Tri Cities, which means unlimited hydroplanes on the river and airshows in the skies. Motel space will be at a premium so book ahead if staying over.
We are front and center for Hydroplane races but you will need to contact me ahead of time to get passes to get down road to my house. Friday is a free day so feel free to come and watch the qualifying on Friday if you wish. Or buy tickets and stay for races on Saturday and Sunday.

Registration/Fees

There are no registration fees, but we're asking everyone to register online so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
