Impromptu Vermont

Weather is turning this weekend after much rain.

Impromptu "leaderless" - camping at Jamaica State Park in Jamaica Vermont. I am camping Friday & Saturday night (right now plenty of sites available or PM me to join my site - 4 are allowed).  Arriving Friday late afternoon - we can do a potluck Friday night if there is interest and attendance ... Saturday AM say KSU at around 8 am in the town of Jamaica (there is a Small Grocer there with coffee - baked items and parking).  Sure - you could come for a day ride and not camp. I can't decide if 50 people will show up or no people. So try to communicate your intentions.

My plan is to ride for the day unknown miles, loosely following VT 100, running the gaps Routes 73, 125, 17 - just a leaderless association of people who want to ride together... Hint I don't stop super often ... but we will plan to regroup after the winding bits and I tend to be a +10 mph rider fyi... otherwise as yet no specific route rather just riding as long as you / I feel like it, looking for twisty roads (and certainly open to suggestions) but likely a good part of the day. I will investigate lunch dependent on response.

A write up of some of these roads: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/vermonts-gap-roads. These are well experienced rider motorcycle roads (esp. Route 17) ... attendance accepts that it is at your own risk. If you want less intense roads I am happy to provide some advice and a regroup location /time.

I am heading up from CT Friday afternoon, return Sunday Morning, likely avoiding highways. R/N there is one other lean to available at the campground. If a bunch of people are responding likely we'd be doing some splitting up.

Registration & Fees

Registration is FREE!!  Although there are no registration fees, I am asking everyone to register so I have a headcount.
