Mt. Greylock Loop Ride

Mt. Greylock Loop Ride Date: 8/12/2023 (Saturday)

Join Kevin Martin for a ride out to Mt. Greylock, stopping for lunch at the Freight Yard Pub in North Adams. After lunch, we’ll ride up the Greylock Auto Road then back down the other side of the mountain to US-7 south in Lanesborough MA. I wasn’t planning on stopping up at the Summit, but we can certainly do that if riders are interested in touring the summit and lodge. FYI: there’s a $2 parking fee at the Summit.

On the way back, we’ll be taking a number of great riding roads, like routes; 8, 116, 112, and several secondary roads through Sunderland and Leverett. We’ll be stopping for a break at Sterling Ice Cream and ending the ride at Dunkin’s in Groton.

Meeting location: Ride starts at 7:30 am from Johnson’s Restaurant, 164 Boston Rd., (Rt-119) Groton MA. Please gas up before the ride starts.

Lunch Location: Freight Yard Pub, 1 Furnace Street, North Adams, MA.

Mileage/Time: 269 miles / 8 hours (including planned stops)
