Quabbin Fall Foliage Ride [MA]

November is a little late for leaf peeping but the warm weather has delayed the foliage season around here somewhat so since the days are quickly getting shorter, I thought we could squeeze in one more late season ride before we set the clocks back, and maybe see some foliage color to boot.

Join me for a ride out to the Quabbin Reservoir, stopping for lunch in Belchertown, before riding the Quabbin loop road to view what’s left of the foliage. I don’t usually do fast food for lunch, but to speed up the trip, we’ll be eating at McDonalds in Belchertown before riding the Quabbin.

Ride starts from Johnson’s Dairy in Groton at 8:45 am, and ends in two locations depending on your ride home location.

• 1st end of ride: Dunkins Rt-70 Clinton MA (approximately 2:30 pm)
  
• 2nd end of ride: Dunkins Westford Street, Chelmsford MA (off US-3 Drum Hill Rotary / Approximately 3:30 pm)
  

Meeting Location:  Ride starts at 8:45 am from Johnson’s Restaurant, 164 Boston Rd., (Rt-119) Groton MA. Get there early if you want breakfast, please gas up before the ride starts. 

Lunch location: McDonalds, 148 N Main St., Belchertown, MA, 01007

Approximate Mile / Time: 150/ 4:20 hrs. (To 1st End of Ride, including planned stops)

Registration/Fees
There are no registration fees, but we're asking everyone to register online so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
