Back to the Shack

The annual ride and campout returns to the serene Horseshoe Lake near Pine River, MN.

There is a change of venue this year, as the Shack property has been sold and a new property has been purchased across the bay. Fortunately, I have been allowed to continue using the new location for this event and to invite members of COG to enjoy what is a substantial upgrade in both the facilities and the setting.

For those who are not into camping, or who would like a little more comfort than a tent provides, ten beds in three buildings are available, offering a quintessential North Woods cabin atmosphere. Enjoy lake life and amenities including a sandy beach, swimming raft, pontoon, kayaks, and of course a nighttime bonfire.

We will ride some of the best roads in the area, winding past lakes and jack pines, then return for grilling, chilling, and BS-ing. Donations are accepted.

There will be a lunch meetup on Friday at a location to be determined.

Contact me for more information, and watch the forum as we get closer to the event.
